Purchased, along with two of them unidentified, for £60 in August 1895 by an unknown patron; gifted by him/her in 1895 to Sir (Arthur) Norman Hill; thence in 1944 to his daughter Beatrice ; bequeathed/given in 1980 to National Trust by Beatrice Hill (d.1983).
