Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Gentleman in Tartan, British (Scottish) School, circa 1830/40. A half-length portrait of a gentleman wearing the MacDonald of Glengarry tartan, held by a Cairngorm brooch over left shoulder; two pistols, tucked into belt; with stormy landscape in background. The sitter may be Aeneas Ranaldson, 6th of Titular, Lord MacDonald and 16th Chief (1808-52).
