Summary
Stationery casket with hinged domed lid to a rectangular body. Boulle decoration in brass and red tortoiseshell. Brass oval medallion set in rectangular panel of scrolling foliage, strapwork/scroll border. Inlaid on all sides. Fitted interior. Possibly made in France circa 1820 (as per the other two items in the set) with the supplier's name - A. Barrett of Piccadilly, London - printed on a quatrefoil gold label stuck on the base.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
