Summary
Commemorative medal manufactured by Edward Orme of Bond Street, London in 1815. Circular picture medal commemorating 'RECORD OF BRITISH VALOUR'. A winged classical female figure seats below tree writing an inscription on tablet. Cast in relief. The same object exists within the British Museum Collection, see M.6585.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
