Summary
One of a pair of wooden boot trees, in three sections, with hinged foot, original to the pair of black leather Wellington boots for which they were made by F. G. Buhl, Boot Maker, 58-59 Burlington Arcade, London, circa 1900. 'Lord Berwick' is engraved on metal on the top of the shoe trees.
Provenance
8th Lord Berwick collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
