Summary
Part of a set of three items of doll's clothing. A yellow doll's skirt. As ATT/TC/086/1. a) As ATT/TC/086/2; b) black silk plain weave 'taffeta'. Waist band opening at back with hook and eye. Skirt gored and flared with train at back. Lined throughout with a), facings of b) at hem. Possibly made in Italy towards end of 19th century.

Perhaps intended for Lady Berwick's dolls. 8th Lady Berwick collection; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
