Summary
Part of a set of three items of doll's clothing. A yellow/cream doll's bodice. As ATT/TC/086/1 Cream silk open mesh organdie ruched. Undyed linen plain weave. Round neck, short puffed sleeves. Trimming ruched onto bodice back and front to waist. Back opening with hook and eye. Possibly made in Italy towards end of 19th century.

Perhaps intended for Lady Berwick's dolls. 8th Lady Berwick collection; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
