Summary
Part of a set of two items of doll's clothing. A blue silk doll's skirt. As ATT/TC/085/1. a) As ATT/TC/085/1; b) cream silk plain weave 'taffeta'. Waist band. Back fastening with hooks and eyes. Lining a) as facings at hem, otherwise lined with b). Skirt flared to hem with train. Possibly made in Italy towards end of 19th century.

Perhaps intended for Lady Berwick's dolls. 8th Lady Berwick collection; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
