Summary
Part of a three piece set of Shropshire Yeomanry uniform: a uniform jacket. Khaki wool twill weave 'Cavalry twill'. a) two crown badges; b) two Shropshire Yeomanry lapel badges; c) four metal buttons 23 mm diam; d) five metal buttons 17 mm diam; e) medal ribbons; f) two buttons 13 mm diam; g) two metal hooks. a) Khaki cotton unbalanced plain weave ridge; b) khaki wool plain weave 'Flannel'; c) cream cotton satin weave. Hand and machine sewn; two outer breast pockets; one inner pocket; two hip pockets and coat hanger. Made for 8th Lord Berwick, who served as a Captain of the Shropshire Yeomanry, by Winter and Tracy of London, circa 1914.
