Summary
Black dress suit waistcoat. Foreparts; black wool twill weave herringbone. Back; black silk satin weave. a) three black silk basket weave buttons 13 mm diam and buttonholes; b) metal buckle; c) black 'Russian' braid. a) Undyed cotton 'calico'; b) ivory silk satin weave; c) as back fabric. Hand and machine sewn; shawl collar; two pockets. Back adjusting strap; collar and pockets edged with braid. Made for 8th Lord Berwick by Lesley and Roberts of Hanover Square, London, November 1913.
