Summary
Baron's surcoat. Crimson silk velvet; metal, hallmark head and shoulders, lion and the initial 'D'. White fur edging. Cream silk unbalanced plain weave 'taffeta'; red silk twill weave ridge. Hand sewn. Manufactured by Ede and Ravenscroft of Chancery Lane, London, circa 1900.
