Summary
One of three lengths of blue watered silk. Pale blue silk warp and weft plain weave 'taffeta' with 'moire' or watered finish. Loom width 490 mm (19.25 in). a) Two selvages with cut sewing threads, tacking stitched hem either end; b) as a) but with tack marks either end also; c) two selvages with cut sewing threads, cut two ends. English manufacture circa 1800.
