Summary
A piece of structured crimson worsted fabric and four fragments of the same material. Crimson worsted plain weave. 650 mm (25.1/2') loom width. Oblong, selvages on either side, cut either end, hand and machine sewn seams, cut yellow silk threads. Circa 1800.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
