Summary
One of 8 blue printed cotton curtains, printed cotton satin, (1950 interpretation of an 18th century baroque design) a) blue cotton b) interlining cotton bump Hand and machine sewn, heading band at top with hooks for rings on pole, hemmed on three sides, lined and interlined throughout. Made in France circa 1950.
Provenance
Probably bought by the National Trust at an auction post 1950 and used by the Administrator for private staff apartments in the Mansion until their removal in May 2007.
