Summary
Fifty-one items of window curtain furnishings consisting of 13 pelmet swags, 1 pelmet tail, 2 side pelmet tails, 6 printed fragments, 4 lining fragments, 9 printed curtain fragments, 8 printed curtains and 8 printed tiebacks. Cotton warp faced satin weave screen printed three tones blue, two tones green. Black, turquoise to cream wash. Made in France by Harmonie de Laurent Stere circa 1950.
Provenance
Probably bought by the National Trust at an auction post 1950 and used by the Administrator for private staff apartments in the Mansion until their removal in May 2007.
