Summary
Oval snuffer tray, well pierced with floral border, and shaped ends pierced with palmette motif and leaf decoration. Outer bead border. Plain centre field engraved with Berwick crest in bright cut laurel leaf wreath and classical borders. Possibly manufactured by Richard Miltho of London, circa 1760.
Provenance
Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
