Summary
One of two tub-shaped silver salt cellars, each with a pair of flat side handles and gilt interior. Decorated with reeded bands and engraved with the Noel crest and coronet. Possibly made by Thomas Foster. London hallmark, 1793.
Provenance
Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
