Summary
Silver-gilt egg boiler in the form of an urn with two hinged doors with ball finials and a pair of entwined snake handles. Raised on four reeded legs with acanthus leaf cappings and terminating with hairy claw feet, joined by an undertier for spirit lamp or burner. Maker's mark for John Edwards, London, 1802.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
