Summary
Miniature, enamel, Head of the Madonna (after Raphael), Italian School, 19th century. Head and shoulder portrait of veiled woman, looking down to the right, in a pink dress, blue cloak, white veil, light brown hair, very pale complexion. Sky to the left, crimson curtain to the right. In a rectangular ebonised frame with brass slip and hanging clasp.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
