Silhouette, oil on glass, Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg, Princess of Wales (1719–1772). 1756. Rectangular. Black head and shoulder silhouette of the Princess of Wales, profile to the left, wearing her hair up and dressed with ostrich plumes. Against a gilt mirrored ground.
