Gouache on paper, Seven Designs for a Picturesque Village: Design for a Thatched Cottage with Circular Tower and ?Cartwright’s Shop Attached by John Nash (Cardigan 1752 – East Cowes 1835), circa 1798. A design for the rebuilding of the village of Atcham. A thatched cottage set amongst trees, beside a river with cart track sweeping up in the foreground. Glazed in ebonised frame, with giltwood slip.
