Summary
Gouache on paper, Design for Village at Atcham by John Nash (Cardigan 1752 – East Cowes 1835), circa 1798. A design for the rebuilding of the village of Atcham. A group of cottages in the background behind trees, an inn to the right and figures with dogs in the foreground. Glazed in ebonised frame, with giltwood slip.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
