Cream glazed earthenware batter mixer with lowered rim to one side, on stepped foot, with blue printed inscriptions which read: KENTS IMPROVED MONROES EGG BEATER AND BATTER MIXER (on the front) and EXHIBITIONS 1851.1862 PRIZE MEDALS AWARDED TO G. KENT FOR HIS ROTARY KNIFE CLEANER AND IMPROVEMENTS IN ARTICLES OF DOMESTIC UTILITY MANUFACTORY 199 HIGH HOLBORN LONDON (on the back). Late 19th century English manufacture for G. Kent of High Holborn, London.
