Summary
Circular dished plate from a miniature dinner set, transfer printed in underglaze blue with the 'Monopteros' pattern. Central temple in an oriental setting, a beast of burden and figure in the foreground. Stylised ovolo outer border. Manufactured by John Rogers and Son of Staffordshire between 1802 and 1814.
