Summary
Circular dished plate, transfer printed in underglaze blue with one of a series of romantic views of a Palladian building, river and ruins in foreground. Cattle and riverside town in distance. Outer border of floral sprays and capitals. MOREA STONE CHINA (contained in scroll cartouche, transfer printed in underglaze blue). Impressed monogram usually ascribed to Thomas Dimmock and Co. English manufacture circa 1850.
