Summary
Deep oval vegetable dish with shaped everted rim and raised on foot ring. Transfer printed in underglaze blue 'Jedburgh Abbey' pattern. Horse and rider in foreground, figures in middle distance before abbey ruins. Border of large flowers, stippled ground. Manufactured by Elkin Knight and Co. of Fenton, Staffordshire, between 1822 and 1836.
