Summary
Indented, circular dished plate transfer printed in underglaze blue with 'Elephant' pattern. Elephant and handler to right surrounded by foliage, chinoiserie style building in distance. Wide border of large flowers on stippled background. Manufactured by J. Rogers and Son between 1814 and 1836.
