Summary
Circular dished opaque china plate with scalloped rim with moulded gadroon border. Transfer printed in blue with chinoiserie scene, lakeside pagoda, sampan and two figures in a garden in the foreground. Scrolling floral border. Manufactured by Elken Knight and Bridgewood of Fenton, Staffordshire, between 1827 and 1840.
