Summary
An earthenware washstand set manufactured by W.T. Copeland and Sons, supplied by Thomas Goode and Co., circa 1880. Eleven pieces in the set consisting of a toothbrush holder, a jug, a wash basin, a soap dish with separate drainer and cover, a sponge dish with separate drainer, a chamber pot and a slop bucket with separate cover. Transfer printed with decorative floral sprays of various flowers and foliage, the details picked out in enamel colours. Green line border to rim.
