Summary
Quatrefoil cover with dog finial for one of a pair of tall Chinese narrow bottle shaped vases of hard paste porcelain, circa 1780. The vase has enamelled panels depicting a village scene, figures and animals. Encrusted with scrolling foliage, leaves and flowers, brown Y-pattern ground. Gilt branch side handles.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
