Summary
A woman's jacket, part of a dress, made from black silk and cotton seersucker bodice trimmed with white and black beaded passementerie. Sleeves are puffed with a frill at each elbow whilst the lower half of the sleeves are tight-fitting and made from black silk covered embroidered black net. Front panels, either side of opening and high collar are fashioned from the same fabrics. The collar is trimmed with a ruffle of fine black silk. The bodice outer fabric is fastened with press-studs. Fitted black silk lining with 15 boning strips, closes with metal hooks & eyes.
