Summary
Man’s coat. Pale grey fine milled woollen cloth coat with high turn down collar. Embroidered with silk and metal thread, decorated with sequins and paillettes. Edges bound with silk satin. Self covered embroidered buttons down front opening. Two cut steel buttons at back (19th C additions?). Cotton sateen lining in body. The sleeves are lined with fine wool.
