Summary
A bedspread, part of a set, made from woven striped cream cotton. The bedspread is decorated with multi-coloured wool embroidery in a floral motif, and is edged with cream cotton crochet lace which is a later addition. A decorative central cartouche on the bedspread is embroidered with the date, "1793".
