Summary
A woman's jacket, part of a walking dress, made from slate blue felted wool. The jacket is trimmed with mauve velvet around high stand collar, cuffs and down front and back. The velvet is bordered with chains of stamped, tinted metal. Long sleeves with puffed sleeve heads. There are 21 decorative metal buttons. Lined in cream cotton with a woven blue stripe. Boned between bodice and lining. There is a cream cotton internal waistband printed with the maker’s name fastening with a metal buckle. Label reads, 'Made by Stringer, Belfast'.
