Summary
A woman's pair of bifurcated camiknickers (camisole and drawers combined into one garment). made from white cotton cambric. The camiknickers are decorated with white cotton machine-made torchon lace and drawn-thread work on the shoulder straps, bib and around the flounced cuff and hem of each leg. There is also a slim band of broderie anglaise around the neckline with blue silk satin ribbon insertion. Internally, the camiknickers are unlined and fasten with six fabric-covered metal buttons on the bodice, centre front, intact.
