Summary

A woman's fan, made from pierced ivory or bone. The fan is decorated with pierced decoration in a floral motif on the guards and sticks, with cream grosgrain silk ribbon insertion along the upper edge which holds the fan sticks together, intact. The fan is secured at the base with a mother-of-pearl and brass pivot.
