Summary
A woman's day dress made from printed wool voile. The bodice is printed with a design of brown spots on a cream background, with white cotton lace trim around the neckline and pleats for shaping from the shoulder to the waist centre front. The pagoda-style sleeves are trimmed with two layers of dark green silk fringing on the shoulder and the cuff. The skirt is decorated on the upper third to match the bodice in brown spots on a cream ground, with the lower portion decorated with three deep flounces printed with a mixed design of dark green stripes and a paisley motif. The hem is trimmed with dark green wool braid. Internally, the bodice is fully lined in white calico and the sleeves are lined in cotton voile. The skirt is unlined. The dress fastens centre front with 12 hooks and eyes and a single press-stud, intact.
