Summary
A woman's dress, part of an ensemble, made from mauve moire silk. The dress has matching front and back panels from neckline to hem made from mauve silk satin (the front panel is ruched, the back is not), with bands of matching ruched satin on the cuffs and around the hem. The hem is further decorated with two layers of pleated cotton gauze trimmed with white cotton lace. The bodice is fully lined in white cotton damask, with the skirt partially lined in white glazed cotton and mauve linen. The dress fastens centre front left with fifteen hooks and eyes, intact.
