Summary
A woman's pair of camiknickers (camisole and drawers combined into one garment), made from white cotton lawn. The camiknickers are decorated with a combination of broderie anglaise and tatted cotton lace around the shoulder straps, neckline and leg and are otherwise undecorated. Internally, the camiknickers are unlined, with a drawstring around the neckline for adjustment and no other fastenings, as they were designed to be stepped in to and pulled up from the waist.
Provenance
Gift of Mrs E.G.McConnell.
