Summary
A woman's gilet made from cream grosgrain silk. The backless gilet is decorated with a border of woven cream rayon on the front facings and gilet lower hem and which creates a halterneck shaped neckline secured with three metal press-stud fastenings. There is an embroidered panel of flowers in cream/brown and black cotton thread, backed with white cotton net, above the lower hem along with four large faux mother-of-pearl buttons on the bib centre front for fastening/decoration. The gilet is fully lined in cream silk satin and has a waist tie which fastens centre back with two metal grosgrain covered buttons.
