Summary

A woman's nightcap, made from white muslin. The muslin ground is decorated with whitework floral embroidery, with a brim that is made from bands of broderie anglaise insertion, floral whitework and two muslin flounces with white cotton lace edging. The cap is unlined and has a cotton tie at the nape for adjustment.
