Summary
A baby's bonnet made from cream silk satin. The bonnet has a deep nape frill, decorated with twisted silk thread embroidery and two frills of cream machine-made cotton lace. The crown is decorated with a spray of grapes in whitework embroidery, with a high brim which is trimmed with matching ruched cotton lace and cream silk ribbon loops. It is fully lined in glazed cotton twill and has two cream silk ties, beginning with a bow centre back and stitched centre front, intact.
