Summary
A woman's overskirt, part of a dress, made from figured moire silk. The silk is figured with a stylised floral motif, split into three sections with two side panels and one back panel. The front panels are edged with black cotton "Yak" lace in a floral motif with a scalloped edge and black silk braid trim in a pattern of leaves. The back panel is similarly trimmed but on the lower hem only. The overskirt is unlined, pleated onto a horsehair waistband and fastens centre front with two hooks & eyes, intact. There is also a small pocket hidden on the waistband, proper left hand side.
