Summary
A woman's pair of bifurcated camiknickers (camisole and drawers combined into one garment). made from white linen lawn. The camiknickers are decorated with broderie anglaise and whitework embroidery in a butterfly motif on the shoulder straps, bib and around the hem of each leg, with pink silk ribbon insertion around the neckline and a pink silk bow on each knee cuff. They are otherwise undecorated. Internally, the camiknickers are unlined and fasten with three mother-of-pearl buttons on the bodice, centre front, intact.
