Summary
A child's dress for a girl or boy, made from white cotton lawn. The long-sleeved dress is trimmed on the cuffs and neckline with a combination of white cotton lace and broderie anglaise insertion. The bib is tucked, with matching broderie anglaise insertion on the lower bib and vertically in panels from shoulder to hem left and right hand sides and around the lower hem. The dropped waist has yellow satin ribbon insertion, the dress is unlined and fastens centre back with eight small mother-of-pearl buttons, intact.
