Summary

A woman's nightcap made from white cotton lawn. The cap has a broderie anglaise crown, with bands of cotton lace insertion, broderie anglaise ribbon insertion (ribbon missing) and pintucking, with a cotton lace frill edging. It is unlined and has a cotton tape around the hem for gathering the cap mob-style.
