Summary
A woman's corset cover made from white cotton lawn. The corset cover is decorated with white cotton torchon lace around the capped sleeves and around the neckline to create a small turned collar and there are lines of pintucking from bib to hem. Internally, the cover is unlined and fastens with four fabric covered metal buttons, centre front, and a cotton tape drawstring around the hem, intact. Inside the lining is written "Brett Collection" in black ink and there is also a manufacturers label inside the front seam which reads "Robinson & Cleaver Ltd. Belfast and London".
