Summary
A woman's corset cover made from white cotton lawn. The corset cover is extensively decorated, with white cotton crochet lace around the neckline, yoke and capped sleeve ends, ribbon insertion around the neckline and sleeve ends (ribbon missing) and a panel of white cotton lace centre back, from neckline to hem. There is also pintucking centre front and a short frilled hem, with a channel for a drawstring for adjustment, string missing. Internally, the cover is unlined and and fastens with five buttons centre front in mother-of-pearl, top button missing. A manufacturer's label attached to an inner facing seam reads, "Robinson and Cleaver. Makers. Belfast and London".
