Summary
A baby's christening petticoat, part of a set, made from white cotton lawn. The capped-sleeved petticoat is trimmed on the cuffs and neckline with white cotton lace, with the bib, skirt front and lower hem made from a panel of broderie anglaise with broderie flounces and lines of pintucking. The robe is unlined and fastens centre back with two cotton ties, intact.
