Summary
A baby's christening cape made from cream cashmere twill. The cape is constructed with a collar, over-cape and under-cape, with the collar and over-cape decorated with a deep fill of cream machine-embroidered lace and cream silk thread embroidery in a pattern of loops and flowers. The lower half of the under-cape is trimmed with matching silk thread embroidery. The cape is fully lined in a combination of cream glazed cotton twill and cream silk satin, with four silk satin ribbon ties centre front for fastening, still attached but very fragile.
